Should a website that inspires change be more than just a collection of pages? Should every scroll give the visitor a reason to change? So when redesigning an online experience for Kirloskar Vasundhara, we made change the very essence of the online experience. An experience which enthrals your senses. An experience that makes you want to stay on for a minute longer and be a part of the change they champion.
We wanted to go beyond the ordinary. We wanted to build a website that was experiential and immersive.
Hence, we put in action a plan that optimised the use of digital real estate. We used every scroll, every page, even every dead link to reacquaint the audience with nature. We designed the online experience to update every minute of the day, sharing a different fact about nature with every update. We used dead links to bring alive nature’s harsh reality. We respected the visitor’s time and the aspirations of the organisation by creating urgency, equipping them with information, hoping they leave the website as champions of nature.
1440 minutes in a day. 1440 chances to get to know nature.
Every minute spent with nature is beautiful. Then every minute spent on an online experience about nature should be just as enriching. Hence, the website refreshes every minute giving you a new fact about nature. Over 350 facts are synced to the minute, telling you about flowers blooming right this moment or natural events that occurred at this time on a certain day. But time in nature isn’t set in stone. So some facts are synced to the time of day. Be it dawn, dusk or noon, nature has something spectacular to tell you every minute of every day.
