At Centrick, the way we approach business and relationships is a little bit different. We don’t have clients. We have partners. We believe we are external associates of every brand, tasked with the responsibility of nurturing, growing and adding value to them. We don’t have vendors or collaborators, consultants or even third-party friends. We have partners who align with our vision, share our belief and work in unison with us. Gauging the seriousness of this, Anamta Shaikh was tasked to manage relationships.

As “Head of Partnerships” you are kinda sitting on a three legged stool. On one side, you have internal partners such as art, copy, and code, on the other hand you have partners who are brands worth their salt, and on the third side you have specialists who ensure dreams actually become reality. Each one of these come with their own egos, tantrums, demands, and bright sparks of genius, requiring “the one” to master the fine art of balance. Anamta Shaikh is a perfectionist of this art, vetted by all, across the board.

Anamta Shaikh is just as unique as this role. She’s done her BMS and followed it up with an MBA in Human Resources. This should explain the human side of Anamta. She then spent her formative years in a stock broking firm, in a PR firm and one of the world’s largest luxury publication houses, Condé Nast.

She then went on to train over 500 employees with new policies and procedures and onboarded over 1500 new employees. This should give you an insight as to where she gets her patience from. Anamta Shaikh, having got her left brain sorted, joined a creative solutions company and worked on brands such as Macho, Kama Sutra, Marico, Borosil, Arvind and Ahmedabad University. Her right brain now matched her left brain.

So you see, this wholesome journey from Human Resources to Finance to Creative problem solving gave her a keen understanding of the mindset of each of our partners. She somehow knows what they are thinking even before they know what they are thinking.
