So, to break the ice, we have Malavika Shah on board as our “Head of Interactive Content”.
Now, a good conversationalist isn’t one who constantly tries to be interesting, but instead who is always interested. Whose questions are just as creative as the responses. Malavika Shah’s offbeat journey to copywriting is a testament to this. With a Master’s in Economics from North Carolina State University, she’s worked with the likes of JP Morgan and a Swiss hedge fund consultant firm. She’s even dabbled in corporate law, advanced analytics, teaching and theatre production before leaving it all for copywriting. Surprisingly, from the different fields she was a part of, writing was the common denominator.
So, Malavika moved away from research papers to make a foray into digital content. She designed and developed e-curriculums for a Singapore University and wrote website content for education, finance, travel and hospitality brands. She plunged into the deep end of social media by writing for India’s largest bank and India’s oldest mutual fund. Be it long form or bite-sized content, Malavika Shah always has something to add to the conversation. After all, it takes a tenacious writer to write 300 product descriptions in just 5 days, without missing a single full-stop.
It helps that her attention to detail drives us crazy. Just try getting a typo past her.
