Vistasp Hodiwala is a founding partner of Centrick. He has been in the communication business for over two and a half decades and has handled some of the biggest brands in the country. He has worked with leading advertising agencies such as JWT, McCann Erickson and Publicis, producing a body of work which has been feted by the clients, the advertising fraternity and the consumer alike. His campaigns have earned countless laurels at national and international award shows.
Vistasp Hodiwala’s work alongside Team JWT constitutes Godrej Corporate’s Zindagi Muskuraye campaign featuring Aamir Khan. He helped write and steer two of The Times of India’s hugely popular, landmark campaigns; Lead India and Teach India. While the Lead India campaign inspired many an apathetic Indian to take up the leadership challenge and clean up the rot within the Indian political system, Teach India has gone down in history as the world’s largest educational initiative ever undertaken by any single brand.
Amongst a whole lot of Grands Prix and Golds, Lead India was awarded India’s only Cannes Grand Prix (to date) along with the Integrated Cannes Lion, while Teach India picked up two prestigious Grands Prix at the Spikes Advertising Festival in Singapore.
Over the years, Vistasp Hodiwala’s advertising campaigns have helped launch and promote some of the biggest businesses and brands in the country: Tata Indicom, Godrej, Star TV, Barclays, Tata Tea, Principal Mutual Fund, Alliance Capital, HLL, J & J, Marico and the news channel NDTV 24×7, to name just a few. Over and above these, he has worked on a number of campaigns across categories, helped win accounts and awards, and when no one is paying attention, he quietly takes up public interest causes with vigour and conviction.
From time to time, Campaign Brief Asia, the foremost advertising publication in Asia, has placed Vistasp Hodiwala amongst the 20 hottest creative people in the country.
